Overview
BotCloud is a managed cloud browser service for Puppeteer and Playwright automation. This Acceptable Use Policy defines what you may and may not do when using the service.
Permitted Uses
Web automation against your own properties or properties you are authorized to test, QA and browser compatibility testing, security research with proper authorization, academic research, monitoring of public information you are entitled to access, internal business workflows, and any other lawful automation use.
Prohibited Uses
You may not use BotCloud for: credential stuffing, account takeover, or unauthorized access to third-party accounts; scraping copyrighted content for redistribution; click fraud, ad fraud, or fake traffic generation; spam, phishing, or unsolicited bulk messaging; creating, hosting, or distributing CSAM or other illegal content; bypassing security measures of third-party sites without written authorization; price scraping in violation of a target site’s terms; any activity prohibited by applicable law.
Enforcement
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy, with or without prior notice. We cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement and may share session metadata when legally required.
Reporting Abuse
If you believe a BotCloud user is violating this policy, contact abuse@botcloud.dev with relevant details. We review all reports and respond within 72 hours.
